About Me
Although I have always had a passion for art and creativity, my path toward interior design has been a winding one. My undergraduate degree was in Pre-Veterinary Science, and I entered the workforce as a veterinary technician. Although I enjoyed the veterinary field, I was always looking for artistic outlets to satisfy my creative drive. In 2014 and 2015, I took art courses at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, focusing in graphic design. Soon after, my husband and I started our family, and I shifted my focus to raising my kids as a stay-at-home mom. As I continued pursuing creative opportunities, my husband and I were also faced with the never-ending task of updating our very old home to accommodate the needs of our growing family. Through this, I discovered my love for interior design, and decided to turn my passion into a career by completing the Interior Design program through the New York Institute of Art and Design, and becoming certified as a Residential Interior Designer.
I love to create spaces that are functional, welcoming, and have personality. As a mother (to pets, too!), I understand the importance of designing spaces to not only be aesthetically pleasing, but to fit the needs of those who live in them. I also strongly believe that by making strategic design choices, welcoming and functional spaces are attainable with any budget.
I would love to hear about your dream interior and help make it a reality!
