Initial Consultation
Our first step toward working together is an initial consultation by phone or video call. This conversation gives us the chance to get to know one another a little, for you to tell me a bit about the project you would like to have designed, and for me to answer whatever questions you may have about the process. There is no fee or obligation with this consultation!

Design Planning
After our initial consultation, we can schedule a time for me to visit you on location to discuss the intended project in more detail. During this visit, you’ll tell me about your wishes for the space, problem areas you need solutions for, any must-haves for your ideal space, and your budget for the project. I will ask you questions about how you currently use the area, how you would like to be able to use it in the future, and about your style and preferences. Then, I will take detailed measurements of the space.
This initial meeting usually takes 1-2 hours, depending on the size of the space(s) and the extent of work to be done. Then I hit the drawing board!
After our initial consultation, I will put together a presentation that includes a detailed floorplan, color scheme, furniture and lighting plan, and an itemized estimate. We will schedule a second meeting to go through this design plan together and discuss next steps.

Bringing it Together
Once we have our design plans in place, if you choose to have me see you through the entirety of the project, I will manage the steps necessary to complete your design. This will include ordering items, arranging furniture, and working with necessary subcontractors to make your design a reality.

Finishing Touches
The final step in making any room picture-perfect is accessorizing. I will work with items you already own and/or new items purchased within a budget you set. The goal of this final step is to bring the room to life with your personality and style. I will work to arrange just the right pieces to show off your new space. This can include arranging shelves, finding the perfect basket and throw blanket to keep beside your sofa, or finding the perfect place to display a family heirloom you’ve been keeping in a drawer.
